Enrollment

Welcome to Discovery Charter School – Phoenix Campus

Discovery Charter School – Phoenix Campus, is a tuition-free TK–8 public charter school authorized by the Santa Clara County Office of Education (SCCOE). We welcome students from any district in California and provide a nurturing, engaging environment where children grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

Admission to DCS Phoenix is determined through a lottery system, and all families who complete the lottery process by the deadline will be eligible for the lottery.

Why Choose Discovery?

Whole-Child Approach

We go beyond academics to support students’ emotional growth and character development. Social-emotional learning (SEL), small-group instruction, and a safe, inclusive culture help every child build confidence and lifelong skills.

Project-Based, Hands-On Learning

Students engage in real-world projects that promote critical thinking, creativity, and a deeper understanding of core concepts.

Student Voice and Choice

We encourage students to make meaningful choices in their learning, helping them develop independence, curiosity, and motivation.

Strong Family Partnerships

We believe learning is most effective when families are involved. Our school community is built on active engagement and collaboration between families and staff.

A Close-Knit, TK–8 Community

With small class sizes and a committed, caring team, every student is known, supported, and celebrated.
